McGrath SUCCEED with TRUE-SPEAK is a leadership program that provides Administrators, HR Directors, Principals and anyone involved in the supervision of staff with a framework for excellent communication skills and productive reasoning based in a philosophy of trust, respect, understanding and engagement to lead others to excellence.

FOUNDATIONS COURSE

WHAT

Participants learn effective and legally-sound methods of communication, supervision and evaluation required for them to succeed in their roles and lead others to excellence. 

 

Leaders receive the practical tools and skills they need to confidently lead others - from their heart, while thinking with their head. 

 

This Course will prepare supervisors and administrators to:

 

  • Utilize a 4-point logic system for thinking and communicating that correlates human relationship standards—trust, respect, understanding, and growth—with the rights and protections the law affords.

 

  • Provide tailored supervision and evaluation, giving honest feedback and focused direction.

 

  • Distinguish management’s right to supervise and remediate from the employees’ rights regarding evaluation procedures.

 

  • Raise staff morale and effect systemic change.

 

  • Communicate verbally and in writing, being factually based and legally sound, leaving nothing to be disputed.

A consistent, system-wide written and spoken language process with accompanying tools provides site administrators and classified managers with the safest way to minimize risk when disciplining and/or terminating employees. Performance, supervision, discipline, and termination issues are addressed with a legally fit and educationally sound method that instills employee responsibility for quality performance and produces the appropriate paper trail.

We train your group of candidates to deliver the SUCCEED Foundations Course to supervisors and administrators within your organization allowing for organization-wide cultural shift in leadership and strategic thinking, employee job satisfaction, and increased student achievement.

RESULTS

Participants who successfully complete the program become “Certified McGrath SUCCEED Instructors” and are authorized by McGrath Training Solutions to conduct in-house training and provide coaching for district administrators within their own organizations under a four-year McGrath License and Confidentiality Agreement. We train your group of candidates to deliver the SUCCEED Foundations Course to supervisors and administrators within your organization and to facilitate the 9-month follow-up Mastery Curriculum.

A Certified McGrath SUCCEED Instructor is Authorized under License to:

  • Conduct in-house training for administrators, supervisors, teachers and staff that can be tailored to the time and class size needs of the district.

  • Act as a SUCCEED facilitator with learning communities of SUCCEED practitioners in your organization.

  • Provide on-site assistance, mentorship, regular coaching and review of adminitrators’/ supervisors’ work product.

  • Have access to a customized SUCCEED website for McGrath Instructors that
    provides ongoing growth and professional development in the area of transformational communication.

  • Collaborate with colleagues on issues and methods that have made a difference and enhanced the culture of trust, respect and growth in their school districts.

  • Receive a one-year subscription to the SUCCEED Online Support Program.

What the SUCCEED System provides is a basis for communication that can be used in any situation.
